Product Manager
Role: Research and participate in the definition of new products. Lead the product development process and the associated training, marketing, and support programs that will lead to product success in the marketplace.
Objectives: Drive the development of new products (and version) launches within determined deadlines.
Responsibilities: Define requirements and develop marketing specifications to support new product releases (feature set, functionality, projected launch dates, support, etc.). Other duties may be assigned.
- Work closely with marketing, management, programming and customers to establish the product requirements.
- Gathers customer input on new enhancements, features, and interfaces via surveys and focus groups.
- Works closely with the production team to create launch strategy that defines the new product or enhancement, positioning, pricing and its impact on sales approaches, marketing communication materials, advertising, etc.
- Interfaces with the development team on product requirements and cost justification.
- Oversees integration of product enhancements and supporting content into the Z57 website.
- Develops and manages customer usability and beta tests.
- Conducts trends analysis and plans for future upgrades and changing customer and business requirements to incorporate desired features and functionality into the product.
- Defines competitive positioning and develops and implements marketing plans.
- Oversees the development of all support materials (including online support and customer service training).
- Provides technical assistance as required on new features and/or product enhancements.
- May participate in the development and maintenance of strategic alliances that have a direct impact on the product.
- Generates marketing collateral including data sheets, white papers, presentations and demo materials.
- Assists the Marketing and Technical teams as needed.

Responsible for the implementation and configuration of applications into
multiple web-based projects at a time. As well as for editing, content
implementation and completion of sites created by designers. Developers will
work closely with project managers to meet deadlines and exceed client

Requirements:
Ability to hand code HTML.
Working knowledge of Dreamweaver or equivalent product.

Some exposure to JavaScript programming.

Qualifications:
Minimum five years professional experience with UNIX, Linux (Red Hat and

Expert in Apache web services, DNS, Shell scripting, CheckPoint and RAID
systems.
Minimum three years experience in building and maintaining highly available
web hosting networks and server clusters.
Professional/Educational exposure to Iplanet web server, Oracle and MySql a
plus.
