With TV news wildfire reports flashing ominously during Sunday's October 21 World Series game, Z57 managers realized by morning they may be faced with serious company-wide decisions for the safety of their employees. A skeleton team arrived early Monday morning. They notified over 100 employees of the real estate Internet marketing company via phone and email to remain at home and follow the instructions of the mayor and local community reverse 9-1-1 calls to evacuate. Customer service called real estate agents to postpone the next few days' nonessential appointments. Many Z57 managers and employees worked remotely from Monday through Wednesday. A taskforce was designated to troubleshoot emergency customer v-mail and emails. As a responsible Internet website and service provider for thousands of REALTORS ® nationwide, Z57 was fully prepared operationally with multiple disaster back up systems both onsite and offsite. At no time did any of Z57 agents lose their Internet presence during the fires. The facility was not damaged. Z57 was at 85% staffing by noon Thursday.

This disaster emphasized the importance of one of Z57's Agent Excellence website key features, the Prospect Connector.
