SAN DIEGO, 13 November 2006 - San Diego-based real estate Internet marketing company, Z57^® Inc., won an Medallion Award in the midsize company category at the 2006 Workplace Excellence Awards presented by the San Diego Society for Human Resource Management and The San Diego Union-Tribune on November 1 at the San Diego Convention Center. The competition honors companies and their human resource professionals who contribute to superior employee satisfaction and company performance.

In its seventh year the awards program was established to illustrate how exceptional human resource practices translate into employee satisfaction company performance and profitability. Only employees are eligible to nominate their company as "a great place to work." Upon selection, companies are notified and asked to submit an application to substantiate their employee's nomination. Independent judges evaluate applications and interview the companies' CEOs and human resource managers. Innovation, impact and implementation of the companies' human resource practices are the criteria used in the competition.
