Step 1:
Once logged into your Marketing Control Center (MCC), mouse over the “Listings” button located at the top of the page, and click “Add Listings” in the drop down navigation buttons.

Step 2:
Click “Add a Listing”

Step 3:
Complete all necessary listing details and features

Here is what each section relates to:

GENERAL

Title – Enter a catchy title for the property. Remember, these details will appear on your website. For example, Two-Story Coastal Beauty.

Type  – Select the type of property from this drop down menu. For example, Single Family Residential.

Price  – Input all your prices in a consistent manner. For example: $520,000. Make sure you put in the proper number of zeroes and that you do not use any characters other than numbers and commas.

Status  – Choose the listing’s status from the drop down menu.

Category  – This section allows you to organize your listings into groups. For example: Residential, Commercial, and Land. If you have already added categories in the past, you will be able to select them from this drop down menu. If you are creating a new category, select “New Category”. The website will prompt you to type in your desired category. This will be seen by your website visitors, so make sure to spell check and capitalize properly.

Short Description  – The short description shows up in the listing overview, before someone clicks for more details. It can be up to 200 characters in length.

Long Description  – The long description shows up after someone has clicked for more details on the listing. There are no character limitations here.

ADDRESS

Address  – Make sure you input the address carefully so it can connect properly to our mapping software and to our Listing Syndication partners. The neighborhood/subdivision is optional and does not connect to any mapping.

CUSTOM FIELDS

Customize Your Own Fields  – This section allows you to create custom fields specific to your area and homes. For example, you might use “proximity to downtown” if you listed a condo or loft near downtown.

Step 4:
Check off website features and Select “Edit Pictures”. You will now upload pictures of this listing from your computer to your website.

Syndicate this listing  – Send your listing out to our listing portal partners such as Trulia, Zillow, and Oodle!

Mark This Listing as a Featured Home  – Have your listing appear on the “Featured Homes” slideshow.

Create Listing Slideshow  – Control the way pictures are displayed on your website by having them run through in a neat slideshow.

Include in Featured Properties Slideshow  – Designate which listings you would like to appear on the Featured Properties Slideshow on your homepage.

Step 5:
Edit and Order your images and Click “Save These Images” when you are done.

Step 6:
The next page asks you how you would like it marketed.
