You can easily change the links on the resource page of your website. We recommend you customize the resource section and add specific website links unique to your clients and prospects’ interests.

Step 1:
Once logged into your Marketing Control Center (MCC), click the Design & Content tab located at the top and center of the page. In the sub-navigation menu, hover over “More” and click “Local Resources”.

Step 4:
The next page asks you the “Category Title” for your new resource. You can choose from an existing category, or set it to “Add new Category”. For example Let’s say you want to have a new section dedicated to “Home Improvement”. Select “Add new Category” in the drop down menu and type the name of your category “Home Improvement” in the “New Category” field.

Step 5:
Next create a title for the resource you are adding. The “Resource Title” is usually the name of site or business you’re linking to.

Step 6:
Add the coordinating link into the Resource Link field below. Notice we already give you the http://, so be careful not to repeat it.

Step 7:
Resource Description describes what your visitors can expect when clicking on the link. It’s beneficial to keep it simple. For example, you can say “Click Here To Shop Online” or even use their slogan like, “You Can Do It – We Can Help.” You have the ability to include up to 500 words in the description, if you need them.

Step 8:
Display Type: You have two options for the way this website will display when someone clicks on it. The default option, framed, means the other website will open up within the borders of your website- so your top (primary) and left (secondary) navigation bars will remain no matter where the visitor clicks. The other option is to have the other website open up in a new window on top of your website. Keep in mind if you use this option, you increase the chances that your visitor will leave your website altogether and not come back.

Step 9:
Resource Image allows you to add the logo for the link you’ve added. It’s just like adding a photo to an email. If you’ve saved it to your computer already you would click on the “Choose File” button and attach it.
