Chuck Sheldon decided to get into real estate after being tired of not having control over his time. He recently moved to Ohio after practicing real estate in another state and needed to get his business up and running fast.

We asked Chuck to reveal how he achieved his great success:

Z57: How did you want to grow your business? Chuck: I didn't really know the area so I decided to focus on working with buyers the first year. I felt that it would be easier to work with buyers and I would be able to get to the market better. Therefore I needed to have internet leads every day! Now when I wake up, it's like Christmas, I open my email and see leads that have been generated from my website. I immediately start working them by placing them in my IDX home listings system that I have with Z57®.

Z57: What were challenges existing in your business that you wanted to overcome? Chuck: I was challenged with the fact that as a new agent in a new area, I had no way to generate leads other than doing cold calling and open houses and expensive paper advertising. When I made the move to Dublin Ohio I called my Personal Marketing Coach, Fumi and told him that we needed to work on some marketing ideas to generate a pipeline of prospects that I could start working.

Z57: What specific results have you experienced? Chuck: I have really enjoyed this program because it has let me be able to find prospects within my area with out having to do Open Houses, cold calling and expensive paper advertising. These leads are easier to convert when they come from your personal website. Thanks Fumi and z57 for getting me established in my new area. Since acquiring a website from Z57, I have averaged about six hundred unique visitors per month, and now with the SEO Optimization I am seeing a dramatic increase in visitors per day. I sold my first home in my second month of using Z57 and have had 12 successful closings and four sales currently under contract since March 2006 and all from my website.

Z57: What role did your Personal Marketing Coach play in your success? Chuck: My marketing coach, Fumi, worked with me exclusively. We spent a lot of time brainstorming on the phone. He has built a couple of landing pages for me that are really working. And now, we are talking about what we are going to do in the spring with postcards using the InstaCompare program to generate seller prospects.

Z57: What advice can you give to other Realtors with similar goals or challenges? Chuck: I would say to work really close with your Personal Marketing Coach and brainstorm ideas for each season. It's also very important to create different landing pages for your marketing campaigns so you can measure your return on investment. I have used two other real estate website companies in my career, with both of them promising me great results. The fact is not one of them compares to the service I receive from Z57.
