Z57: How did you want to grow your business?
David: I wanted to focus on being a buyer's agent and since Austin is experiencing a huge growth in population I wanted to somewhat specialize in the relocation section. Z57 gave me the web presence I needed to reach that clientele.


Z57: What were challenges existing in your business that you wanted to overcome?
David: Web advertising is a strange and difficult animal. The challenge was to talk to a client that was seriously looking to purchase a home. Many use the internet as a first step in an idea or concept, trying to weed out the lookers and reaching the serious buyers is always the greatest challenge.


Z57: What specific results have you experienced?
David: I specifically have written over 3 million dollars with 14 transactions in my first 8 months in the business. 12 of those were as a direct result of using Z57's services, generating me $90,000 in commission. This is especially significant to me because I moved 2000 miles to start my real estate career not knowing one person in Austin - I really did not expect such immediate and great results.


Z57: What role did your Account Manager play in your success?
David: A big role. I had no clue on how to reach my market. Although, I think we are far away from reaching our final advertising campaign, I have no doubt that Tommy will help me get there and I look forward to working with him further!


Z57: What advice can you give to other Realtors with similar goals or challenges?
David: There is no secret: Dedication, honesty and service. For the first time in my life I can truly say I love what I do for a living and it is such an advantage. I never put a price tag on any client and I don't put money first. I love helping people through the stressful and sometimes difficult process of purchasing a home. I look at my job as making purchasing a home a fun, not burdensome experience for my clients.
